Labor Doctor ("we," "us") is a recruiting and placement service that connects US companies with remote professionals. This policy explains what information we collect through labordoctor.com, by email and by phone, and how we use it.
Information we collect
- From candidates: your name, contact details, resume, work history, skills, and anything else you share by email or in an interview.
- From employers: company name, contact name, contact details, and the roles you want to fill.
- From website visitors: basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected by our hosting provider in standard server logs. We do not use advertising trackers.
Forms on this site, including resume uploads, are processed by our website host, Netlify, and delivered to us by email.
How we use it
- To review and interview candidates and match them with roles
- To share a candidate's information with employers considering them for a role
- To answer your questions and messages
- To operate, secure and improve the website
We do not sell personal information.
Sharing
We share candidate information only with employers considering that candidate, and with service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting and email. We may also disclose information when required by law.
Retention and your choices
We keep candidate information on file so we can match you with future openings. You can ask us to update or delete your information at any time, or stop receiving messages from us, by emailing office@labordoctor.com.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no website or email transmission is completely secure.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
